• 1974 Graduate of The Medical Center of Central Georgia School of Nursing
• 1988 Graduate of The Atlanta School of Massage
• 1990 Certification in Reflexology
• 2002 Graduate of The Barbara Brennan School of Healing®
• Studied Healing Touch through the Holistic Nurses Association and studied directly with Janet Mentgen

My nursing career was primarily as an operating room nurse, and I was an OR Supervisor when I left nursing to study Massage Therapy. After graduating from massage school, I started a private practice in Massage Therapy in 1988 in Macon, Georgia. 

I began studying healing work in 1990 and practicing Healing Touch as well as Massage Therapy. One of the textbooks used in my healing classes was Hands of Light, by Barbara Brennan.  I was so drawn to her work that I knew I wanted to attend her school. After many years of my own personal healing and energy work, I decided it was time to try for my dream of attending the Barbara Brennan School of Healing®. Four years later I was a graduate and have been growing into my healership ever since.
